Generous Donation

Benefit Services Group recently donated $1000 to the Society of the United Helpers Oktoberfest “Costumed” Prediction Run/Walk. The 4th Annual Oktoberfest “Costumed” Prediction Run/Walk and Wellness Expo will be held on Saturday, October 25th at the Roos House on the SUNY Canton College Campus. Registration Begins at 9:00 am. Walkers will depart at 10:00 am and Runners will depart at 10:30 am. Runners and walker are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume.


The Oktoberfest Run/Walk event is an opportunity for families and fitness enthusiasts to enjoy a morning of exercise and wellness. It is sponsored by the Society of the United Helpers, SUNY Canton's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the United Helpers Organizational Wellness Committee and proceeds benefit United Helpers’ residents.

In addition to the Run/Walk, a Wellness Expo featuring health and wellness tips from the American Red Cross, SUNY Canton Fitness Center, North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council, SUNY Canton EAP, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Canton-Potsdam Hospital and other providers will also be available. The Expo is free and open to the public.
