Howe Receives Life Improved Award Nomination

Paige Howe began her career at United Helpers as a Task Aide, and like many others has since become a CNA.
However, due to testing anxiety her path to become a CNA was not easy. Ms. Howe though continued to persevere and work towards her goal of climbing the career ladder at United Helpers.
That sense of perseverance and dedication to her job earned her a Life Improved Award nominations.
Ms. Howe was jointly nominated for the honor by Charlene Dawley and Bobbi Jo Holmes.
"During her time as a task aide, she was instrumental in precepting new task aides. She took great pride in this and her pride showed with her smile and willingness to lead new employees," they wrote.
While waiting to take her CNA test for the second time, Ms. Howe worked in the food services department, where she earned the admiration of Food Services Manager Terry Grennon. According to Ms. Dawley and Ms. Holmes, it was stated on several occasions that Ms. Grennon wished "she could clone her because of her work ethic."
Now as a CNA, Ms. Howe continues to work hard and do so with an ever-present smile on her face.
"As a CNA, she continues to seek out tasks to assist her co-workers and maintains a positive attitude with all those around her and on several occasions she has been approached by Bobbi Jo to help cover available shifts. Paige is always quick in getting back to her and flexible in helping out our scheduler," they wrote, adding Ms. Howe is the embodiment of the Life Improved Logo.
"She has met her own goals to improve her life by becoming a CNA and has improved our resident's lives with her positive attitude and by going above and beyond."
